In this episode, I’m diving into a lesson I learned in therapy that changed my life; understanding the difference between fitting in and belonging, & why confusing the two can leave you feeling disconnected, unseen, and misunderstood.
Inspired by insights from Brené Brown’s Atlas of the Heart and lessons from my own therapy journey, I talk about why fitting in often means abandoning yourself, and how you can start giving yourself permission to show up as your true, authentic self.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to tone yourself down, stay quiet to keep the peace, or play a version of yourself just to be liked, this episode is for you. I’m also sharing practical ways to begin reconnecting with who you really are; especially if you’ve been hiding for so long that you’re not even sure anymore.
This is about rebuilding self-trust, honouring your truth, and finding the kind of connection that doesn’t require you to perform.
