Rotten Fruit, Rotten Faith!

What is the fruit of my faith? (Grasping "good works" as dynamic and insufficient) This question is hard to analyze without a ton of presuppositions. For the sake of simplicity, I have already addressed evidence of faith as "FAITH ALONE", I am going to talk about some of the things we will see in our lives as Christians. True believers are have been born of God.

We need the facts, We have to solve this case!

What evidence should accompany true faith? If we had to measure an evidence so we could be sure that we are saved what would it look like? Is it works? AM I supposed to measure myself in the mirror against Jesus? Maybe a neighbor? True saving faith is the primary evidence of regeneration/salvation. The rest is for the Lord to work out in His timing.(Understanding salvation as regeneration, not life change)

No question in the life of a believer has been more worrisome than, "How do I know I'm truly saved?" Since the 1500's this question has been answered by people who are unable to rightly reveal their answer with Scripture. We live in a day and age where educated men are fundamentally flawed with their assumptive and myopic stance on looking to something other than Christ Alone for security. There are many false teachers that don't know it!

In our world few individuals know how to speak accurately, read comprehensively or communicate effectively. We live in a time where it is easier to laugh, poke, scoff, and make fun of someone and their ideas rather than be confronted by the fact that we just don't know how to listen. Reading and applying the Scriptures is no different. From 140 characters to emoticons, the Bible has long been misapplied because it is literature and must be read as such. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to Biblical truth because truth in ignorance is purveyed as error and error can be lethal.
