The world constantly asks us to pick a side, politically, culturally, and personally. But Psalm 76 points us to a far more important question: are we on God’s side? The psalm describes the greatness of God and the victory He brings to those who follow Him. Too often, we approach life by deciding what we want and then asking God to support our plans. But real victory comes not from trying to get God on our side, but from aligning ourselves with His will. When we pursue God through His Word, prayer, obedience, and humility, we position ourselves to experience the strength, guidance, and victory that only He can provide. Instead of asking God to follow your lead, ask yourself whether you are willing to follow His.
