Are you slowing down in order to speed up?

In this solo podcast I share my view on taking a break, practicing self care offering yourself grace and compassion.
When we do this not only do we show up as our best self, it is contagious to those around us.

Why don’t we do this regularly? Why do we wait until holidays? End of summer before the grind hits?
I too am guilty of this, my response, at least I am taking a break, taking my foot off the gas to reflect, check in with myself and honestly observe what is truly serving me and what do I need to let go of.
Self awareness is so important, doing it in isolation is even more powerful. Looking inward, being vulnerable to what you will see, learning in to the discomfort only produces growth and needed change on the other side.

I look forward to re-surfacing in September, focused, rested and prepared for purposeful activities in line with where I want to go and more importantly who I want to be.
