New standards for grading in our schools has spurred a bit of a controversy in Illinois.  Should you get a 50% grade if you do not turn in any work instead of a Zero? Is it unfair if you miss one assignment and it's weighted score makes it more difficult to pull your grades back up? These are the questions being asked in our schools right now.
