This week on ARG Presents 234, we take a look at those special games that, once produced, set the standard for what was to follow...yes, it's Games that Defined a Genre!  After some discussion on the topic, join THE BRENT and Amigo Aaron as we make the case for 2 genre defining games, Rogue and Arkanoid!

Take aim and FIRE this week on ARG Presents, and THE BRENT and Amigo Aaron give LIGHT GUN GAMES a shot!  First we'll ponder the long history of gun games, and then we'll blast through a few choices of our own, as we take on Police Trainer and LETHAL Enforcers!  BANG!

We're here!  Better late then never this week, and we're going to BATTLE on the Neo Geo this week as we pit a very OLD Neo Geo game against a later release.  Please, join THE BRENT and Amigo Aaron as we look at The Super Spy and Prehistoric Isle 2.

Midway Games, one of the true pioneers of arcade gaming...gone..in an instant.  But why?  Join THE BRENT and Amigo Aaron as we explore what killed this beloved developer, and then stick around as we pick a few games that WE think helped put the final nails in the Midway coffin.  Journey with us as we try out Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero and John Woo Presents STRANGLEHOLD.

Can they play it?  YES they super a'CAN!  It was a LONG, hard road this week on ARG Presents, but we got 'er done!  This week's topic is the SUPER A'CAN, an OBSCURE console offering from our friends in Taiwan.  Out less then a year and with 12 total games in the library, this one is...not the easiest to play at home.  STILL, we pulled it off!  Join THE BRENT and Amigo Aaron for Boom Zoo and SANGO Fighter!

It's games EXCLUSIVE to Japanese Arcades this week on ARG, and I think we found a couple winners!  First, we talk about Japan's arcade scene and some reason why some games stay in Japan.  Then, it's TIME as Amigo Aaron and THE BRENT discuss Ninja Baseball Bat Man and STEEL WORKER!

Bonjour, ya'll!  It's something different from your pals here at ARG Presents, as we take a look at Games From FRANCE!  First, we talk about a few famous French programmers and game designers, and then it's time to explore a few of the titles from the BIG F!  Join us for Le 5eme Axe aka The Fifth Axis, and Alpha Waves AKA Continuum!
