Ari South is one of Hawaii's most recognized young fashion designers. She is the youngest of five kids and was raised by a single mother who was an immigrant from Laos. Now her family currently resides in Waianae, Hawaii. She gained national recognition and attention as a designer on Season 8 of Project Runway. She was also seen on Season 3 and 6 of Project Runway All Stars. She is based in Honolulu, Hawaii and has two labels. Ari South for womenswear and Andy South for menswear, featuring bold prints inspired by the islands.
