It has been a quiet week content-wise for the game. No new patch was released, the third great migration for Legacy servers was announced, Wildcard asked its players what tribe size everyone enjoys and we discuss whether or not this might be a precursor to something more, and then we will be talking about the Equus in our ARK Avenue segment.

Following on the heels of the large ban/dev wipe, Wildcard was at it again and this time TEA was served. But that wasn’t all this week, a little patch went out that could have some big impact on the PvP meta, the devs announced new Specialty servers, NoNoNo has been accused of using a Discord bot to steal information, and then there will be a discussion about the game’s worst-kept secret...body bags.

There has been a Major upheaval in the PvP community this week. Out of the blue Wildcard locked down a number of servers which resulted in them dev wiping a number of tribes and banning people especially from the BLDX alliance. However, there was one big tribe that was left out of this ban wave that has everyone demanding an explanation from Wildcard and allegations that the Chinese tribe is being protected by Wildcard’s parent company Snail Games. Oh, and we will also talk about the boat life this week.

This week the consoles finally got the the second Dino TLC Pass, though not the up-to-date version with the PC which is cause for some ire among the console community. In addition, Wildcard has announced that it will be doing a weekly Community Live Stream, the crew talks about Valve’s loss regarding Australia’s Consumer Right’s Case and whether or not ARK: Survival Evolved would qualify for a refund under those conditions, and a discussion about bows and their effectiveness when it comes to PvP ensues.

This has been a frustrating week for the game. No sooner did Wildcard release a new Code of Conduct for it then they quickly refused to enforce those new rules. Instead, tribes violating the new Code of Conduct seemed to get a free pass as the fight over Scorched Earth 51 finally came to an end. The crew also offered some advice for solo players who might be looking to join a big tribe and lamented that there were no new updates for the PC version due to Wildcard focusing on releasing the Dino TLC #2 for consoles

Quite a few things were announced this week. Unsurprisingly Wildcard’s Chinese owner, Snail Games, has been busy milking all it can from the ARK brand with the release of PixARK Early Access and ARK Park on Steam. In addition, the Easter Event was revealed, ARK: Survival Evolved is coming to the Nintendo Switch, we’ll also talk about further impressions with the second Dino TLC, and talk about traps and their usefulness in PvP.

The Dino TLC Phase 2 has arrived and we are loving the changes for the dinos we have tried out so far. But that wasn’t all, Wildcard has decided to allow non-aberrated dino versions to be transferred onto Aberration, a new YouTube video has been posted showing more undermap glitches, and a mobile version of the game has been announced.
