  • Episode 97: Eastern Promises

This week's #chainmovie is the 2007 David Cronenberg film, Eastern Promises.

Travis and George both watched the first two episodes of #wandavision on @disneyplus.

  • Episode 95: Girlfight (2000)

We venture to a simpler, more independent time.... 2000. In our on-going Chain Movie sessions, we follow Michelle Rodriguez to her feature debut, Girlfight.

Also, in a strange twist of fate (and certainly not planned) George and Travis watched the same movies!

We watched Pixar's Soul, and Warner Bros' WW84

Next week we will be talking about Carlito's Way (George's first time watching it), for the Chain Movie. George has smashed his way through all of Twin Peaks, and Travis consumed the documentary, Totally Under Control.

  • Episode 96: Carlito’s Way

This week we follow Jamie Tirelli (from last week's Girlfight) to the Brian De Palma/Al Pacino classic, Carlito's Way (1993).

Elsewhere Travis watched the new documentary, Totally Under Control.

On a totally different track, George smashed his way through Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Twin Peaks.

  • Episode 93: 12 Years A Slave

This week we follow up Jordan Peele's Us with 12 Years A Slave. Other than that, it's been a very "meh" viewing session for us both. George wanted 2019's Little Monsters (Prime Video), and Illumination's The Grinch (Netflix). He also rewatched the Christmas classic, The Muppets Christmas Carol (Netflix). Meanwhile, Travis watched Brian Cranston in Your Honor (Stan), and the Paul Fieg movie, A Simple Favour. As we always do, we get side-tracked and talk randomly about the recently announced Star Wars/Disney+ shows and movies, and a little about Cyberpunk.

  • Episode 94: Widows

This week we talk about Steven McQueen's Widows. Starring Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, and Elizabeth Debicki. Next week we follow Michelle to her breakout movie, Girlfight (2000).

Travis started watching the new CBS show, The Stand, and endured Sly Stallone's (2001) Driven on Stan.

Meanwhile, George watched The King on Netflix, starring Timothée Chalamet, and rewatched the Syfy Channel's version of Dune (Prime Video).

  • Episode 92: Us
This week we discuss the sophomore effort of Jordan Peele... Us.
George also watched a lot of Andy Samberg movies... namely Palm Springs, 7 Days in Hell, and Tour de Pharmacy.

  • Episode 91: BlackkKlansman
This week we are going to review the Spike Lee joint, BlackkKlansman. Coming off of last week's Inside Man, this is a very different experience.
George gorged himself on pulp stories... namely the recent Lovecraft Country TV series, and the book it is based on.
ELsewhere, Holiday Trav watched more of The Crown, and It: Chapter 2
Finally, George and Travis will be talking about Bruce Springsteen's latest album.

  • Episode 90: The Inside Man
Following on from last week's #chainmovie of Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country, we followed Christopher Plummer to this rather unusual Spike Lee joint.
Meanwhile, Travis and George watched the latest offering from Christopher Nolan, care of #Tenet -- our return to traditional cinema in over eight months.
George also played #Titanfall2, #Gears5, and some of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. He also listened to Puscifer's new album, and the new album from AC/DC.
