  • Leadership Butler County Class of 2020

    Michele Konyha and Mikayla Moretti are this week's guests to talk about this year's Leadership Butler County class project.

    Michele and Mikayla explain the project at Moraine State Park and their ribbon cutting event at the Regatta in August. They need to raise around $50,000 to put in a handicap accessible boat dock as well as making improvements to the area around the dock.

    LBC Class of 2020 has multiple fundraisers to help cover the costs. First, a fundraiser is an on-going ticket raffle to win top brand coolers, a kayak and much more! Tickets can be purchased thru any class member or contacting the Butler Chamber office for more information.

    Second, there will be a Murder Mystery Dinner held on Saturday, May 9th at The Atrium in Butler. The doors open at 5:30 PM and dinner will be served at 6 PM. There will be raffle baskets, cash bar & more. 1920's Dress is encouraged for this Mobsters, Molls & Marinara themed show!

  • Armstrong Breaking Bread-10th Anniversary

    Daneen O'Donnell, Armstrong Community Marketing Manager for the Butler office, joins the show to announce the 10th Anniversary of Armstrong's Breaking Bread initiative. 

    Daneen gives listeners multiple ways to support local food banks in our communities or stop by a local Armstrong office to donate canned goods. She also provides statistics that emphasize the importance of supporting food banks and programs for those in need!


    Armstrong's year long celebration will include helping to support USPS Stamp Out Hunger on May 9th, assisting summer food programs for children and our popular Avenge Hunger Month starting at the end of August.
