Welcome to Aromatic Chat and welcome to 2022!  In this special episode, your host, Melissa, takes the hot seat as Master Trauma Coach, Shanda Ceretti, takes the reigns.

Melissa is a Registered Aromatherapist and a Master Holistic Life Coach.  In this episode, they are diving into the topic of Trauma and how it affects us later in life.  They touch on the ideas of forgiveness, disease, vulnerability, survival, and healing.

As a Holistic Life Coach, Melissa has a beautiful way of opening up and sharing in a way that helps us understand how our brains work.  "Our childhood survival techniques turn into habits that we carry into our adult lives."  The old ways of coping no longer serve us and we have to rewire our brains to realize that the physiological responses of our childhood can be overcome.

One of the paradigms of Melissa's Coaching Practice is the no one escapes childhood unscathed.  The meaning that we make of our experiences shape how we view the world and it is possible to overcome.
