Visiting Rhode Island for just a weekend? Here are some of the highlights we think you should visit. Of course you should check out Newport, but that isn't the only beautiful spot in this state. Add Jamestown to your list. Jamestown is just over the bridge from Newport with some cute shops, bakeries and some jaw dropping spots to walk around Jamestown is a must visit on our list.
Narragansett is one of our favorite spots with great spots to eat like Gansett Poke or Champlin's and of course the beautiful beaches add this town to your must stop list.
To finish off our weekend after stopping for donuts at Allies Donut we head up to Providence. Where we check out Water Fire as well as more amazing dining spots. Where should we cover next?
Come hike another 52 with a view with us! This is a two peak adventure that is just over 4 miles. It was a gorgeous fall day. We understand why these mountains earn a spot on NH 52 with a view list! After the hike we enjoyed some snacks at Woodstock Inn Brewery in Woodstock, NH.
If you want to see pictures of this hike check out our Instagram: Around New England Hiking and we'll see you on the trails!
We also share blog posts like an on going list of all the 52 with a view as well as the 48 4,000 footers we have hiked on our website: AroundNewEnglandPodcast.com
Ever wondered how to choose your first 4,000-footer to hike? In this episode, we spill the beans on why we picked Mt. Osceola as our introduction to the NH 48 4K club. We dive into the details of the trail, share the stunning views (spoiler: they don't disappoint), and of course, offer some tips for your own journey. After conquering the peak, we head to Mad River Coffee Shop for a well-deserved treat—delicious baked goods and some seriously good coffee to refuel. Want to see the breathtaking views we talk about? Check out our Instagram for all the photo evidence: Around New England Hiking.
Join us today as we explore not one, but two beautiful trails – North and Middle Sugarloaf! It’s a 2-for-1 special on the 52 With a View list, and these peaks definitely live up to the hype. Even on a cloudy morning, the views were breathtaking (prove that Mother Nature doesn't always need to be sunny to impress!). We’ll dive into all the trail details, from glacier boulders to a wooden staircase that feels straight out of a fairytale, plus a beautiful stream that's perfect for a cold plunge.
After conquering these family-friendly peaks, we made our way to the stunning Diana's Bath. Then, it was off to one of my all-time favorite breweries, Tuckerman’s Brewery in Conway, NH, for a well-earned post-hike pint. Be sure to check out Tuckerman's website and Instagram for all the event details and their mouth-watering menu.
Also, don’t forget to follow us on Instagram at Around New England Hiking where we’ve posted all the gorgeous photos from this fall adventure.

We enjoyed walking around Stowe and checking out some shops. Then it was time to hit the road.
We could not leave Vermont without stopping at Ben & Jerry's.
And we wanted to re-visit The Vermont Beer Collective. We were not hungry this time, but will have to save room to eat at the Reservoir in Waterbury, VT.
The gluten free beer I mentioned is: The Lucky Pigeon. My favorite I tried was Rock Dove.
