It's been a while! To kickoff the return of the podcast into the spring semester, Keric Jackson and Isaac Blue welcome in two of the leaders of the Shenandoah Football team, Quarterback Steven Hugney and graduating Cornerback Keyshawn Wilder! In this episode, we take a look back at the 2023 Football season and look ahead to the next, as Hugney discusses his plans as the head of the Hornets' offense, and Wilder dives into his role with the team beyond his playing years. Coach Blue offers some quick hit questions to stir the pot a little bit, and it all wraps up with Keyshawn's role with the R.E.D. Team!

The SU Men's Soccer team had a major turnaround since Head Coach Brandon Kates was hired just two years ago, going from an 11th place finish to a 4th place finish and hosting an ODAC Tournament game for the first time in program history. Both Coach Kates and two-time All-ODAC striker Nathan Yared join the show to reflect on the last two seasons, as well as have a chat about the importance of the sport in terms of diversity and individuality, led by Isaac Blue.

Scott and Sydney review the ODAC baseball semifinals and the track & field results from the previous weekend and look ahead to the Championship series for baseball. 

The Senior Award winners were announced at the first-ever Student-Athlete Cookout in addition to the women's lacrosse IWLCA All-Region teams.

Scott and Sydney sit down with head field hockey coach and Senior Women's Administrator, Ashley Smeltzer-Kraft, about her season, playing a traditioally fall sport in the spring and the individual awards her women earned during the post-season. 

The three talk about Junior Kelsey Jones, who was named ODAC Player of the Year, and Rookie of the Year Farren Winter First year student-athletes Cassidy Morrison, and Kylee Tuebner rounded out the All-ODAC honors.

Jones and senior goalie Issabella Morande were named All-Tornament with All-State awards coming out early summer. 

Scott and Sydney review the ODAC baseball quarterfinals and preview the semifinal series, the upcoming track & field slates and the remaining all-conference awards.

Scott and Sydney return to the podcast after a busy spring. The two review a few seasons and recount the ODAC and all-state accolades that have been announced through Thursday, May 6. 

Coach Moyer joins the pod to tell us how her first season at the helm of the Shenandoah softball program was including defeating No.1 Virginia Wesleyan on their senior day, the final double header of the regular season

Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Tim Marshall joins Scott and Sydney on today's show to talk about the upcoming season. 

Coach Marshall and his squad are the first spring sport to open up competition with an away game at William Peace on Sunday, February 14.

Dr. Kerby Hatter '12 & '15, a Shenandoah University Women's Basketball alumna, is our guest this week. 

Hatter played four years of basketball and served as an assistant coach while enrolled in Shenandoah's Doctorate of Pharmacy program. 

Scott and Kerby discus how her time as a Hornet helped her excel in her field and how those skills translate to running an out-patient pharmacy and the intersection of sports and medicine as she serves as the pharmacist for the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball franchise.
