Integrators are one of the newest trades on the jobsite. We sit down with Josh Christain from The HTA and discuss why Integrators are there to help designers, remodelors and builders get through each project and make home technology make sense. We take a deep dive to help everyone understand the best way to navigate home technology.
The Home Technology Association Certification system is the first and only industry standard of excellence for home technology installation companies. In an industry that has no barriers to entry, the HTA has created a rigorous set of standards for home technology companies to adhere to. The firms that meet the 60+ points of evaluation criteria are granted certification status. Once HTA Certified, these firms must commit to maintaining the high standards of HTA Certification or risk losing certification.

Looking ahead, and where interest rates are right now, I think we need to have a chat about going back and marketing your company like we are in a recession. Things appear to be already headed that way. You might have been so busy, been sold out of products, or scheduled out six months. Now with the business landscape changing we need to have a discussion on how to get back to marketing so you can keep that sales pipeline full.
We talk about what can work what doesnt doesnt work when we are marketing in this landscape.

Doing things twice cost your company in resources, materials, and time. We have an answer here if you are having to go back and recaulk projects time and time again. Have you heard of Sashco? For the last 84 years they have been a family run company that geeks out over a better way to caulk and stain. Making a ‘Good, Better, Best’ product range just doesn’t turn their crank. They are passionate about making the highest performance product possible for each project. Great products are only ½ the answer. We want you to be successful applying them.
We camp out in their booth at Design and Construction Week in Orlando Florida and talk about doing things a better way. If you are tired of moldy caulking in the bathroom or having to re-caulk something every couple of years there is a better way and we talk about it in this episode. We dive deep into Sashco with Nathan Ferraro! You dont want to miss this one!
