After the episode was over the guests of the AtL Depth of Field - Concert Photography talked for about an hour about a variety of topics. The conversation was so stimulating that we turned it into a whole other episode. 

Around the Lens presents Depth of Field, a monthly panel discussion podcast featuring experts from the world of photography, filmmaking and visual journalism. Each month, different panelists will discuss issues and topics that are important to those in our career field. This month, Mark Doyle moderates a panel on concert photography with Zack Lane, Kevin Wilson (kevinrcwilson.com) and Jenn Devereaux (www.JennDPhotography.com). 

Around the Lens and 10 Frames Per Second are proud to present a new joint effort focused on discussing everything related to photo books called Photo Flip. Each month we'll bring on new authors, collectors and industry insiders to discuss photo books and the news surround them. The show is hosted by long time Around the Lens guest Joe M. Giordano, his co-host from their show 10 Frames Per Second Elena Volkova, and AtL founder and host, David J. Murphy.

On this, the first, episode of their new show, they welcome Geoff Livingston, a part-time street and event photographer to talk about his new photo book, #NotMyPresident. The book showcases stories and photos from protests related to both Donal Trump's campaign for president and subsequent presidency. During our discussion we talk about his inspiration for the new book, some of his editing decisions and his thoughts about the Biden administration.

Bruce Byers (www.brucebyers.com), host a panel discussion about covering the COVID virus with Prof. William Snyder, Interim Program Director, Advertising Photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology's         School of Photographic Arts & Sciences, and two students from RIT, Traci Westcott and Brittainy Newman.
