This week on Around The Loop, I sit down with Jacob “JROD” Rodriguez — the man behind JROD Electric — for one of the most organic and inspiring conversations we’ve had yet. And yes… we did it all while shooting pool. 🎱

JROD shares the full story of how he got started in the electrical trade, what motivated him to launch his own business, and how he’s built a name not just as a top-notch electrician, but as a mentor and community leader. We dive into the hustle of running a small business, the importance of giving back, and why teaching pipe bending has become a passion for him.

He also talks about his viral moments being featured twice on Foos Gone Wild, and how social media has played a role in his growth and platform.

This is more than just an interview — it’s a real, unfiltered conversation about chasing your passion, building your brand, and staying true to who you are.

Happy Friday the 13th y’all and welcome to Solo Dolo episode number 17. Stay tuned for some exciting news.

In this special episode, I open up about a real and unfortunate situation that recently hit Around The Loop Podcast. A man pretending to be a public figure named “Denzel Moore” scammed me out of $130 by posing as a podcast guest. He signed a contract under a fake identity, accepted payment, and then disappeared — blocking all contact and deleting his Instagram account.

This episode isn’t just about what happened to me. It’s a warning to other creators, podcasters, and independent media outlets: not everyone who claims to be someone is real. I break down the red flags, the timeline of events, and how I’m tightening security moving forward — including verifying all guests, changing my payment structure, and enforcing contracts with real consequences.

Let this be a lesson to all of us out here doing this independently: protect your platform, protect your energy, and keep it real.

🎧 Tune in to hear how it happened, what I learned, and how Around The Loop keeps moving forward — unshaken.

In Episode 82 of Around The Loop Podcast, we take it outside to Carlsbad Park for a laid-back and lively conversation with Lil Paradigm—a local artist and budtender who’s all about real energy and raw creativity.

From his roots in Carlsbad to his process of making music completely from scratch, Lil Paradigm shares how cannabis culture, self-expression, and a positive mindset shape everything he does. He’s not only pushing his sound forward—he’s doing it with heart.

💨 Life as a budtender

🎛️ Producing music solo

🌞 Staying grounded and positive

🎤 And a whole lot of good vibes

Tune in for 26 minutes of laughs, insight, and real talk.
