Check out that intro promo BRUTHA! (stick around to the end for another one).
Don't forget to check the chapters tab in your podcatcher. This is a thing we're doing now, so keep an eye open for those. Especially since this episode has a trigger warning which is laid out in the chapter markers (one before and one after)
We sat down with The B to talk about our all-time favourite Pro Wrestling games. We each brought three of the very best to the table, and discussed why those games are the best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be. We also have a number of honourable mentions, two of which have trigger warnings (so please check the chapter markers and full show notes).
Along the way, we discuss some aspects of Pro Wrestling that someone unfamiliar to the sport might find interesting - like the Ironman Heavyweight Championship, and licensed tattoos.
These notes aren't the full show notes, because it would take forever and a day to download them. So make sure to click here to read the full show notes (and to see the amazing artwork, provided by Yurricanes). There's loads more content over in those fuller show notes, you know.
What do you think of both (you heard them both, right?) of the Pro Wrestling style promos we cut in this episode? We really like how the they turned out. Let us know on Twitter, Facebook, or leave a comment on the show notes.
And have you left us a rating or review? We really like to hear back from listeners about our show, so check out https://wafflingtaylors.rocks/our-podcast/ for links to services where you can leave us some wonderful feedback.

Don't forget to check the chapters button in your podcatcher. You'll notice that we've embedded chapter markers in our episodes. This means that you can jump around in the episode to your heart's content. In this episode, we've separated each of the questions and conversation topics into their own chapters.
In this episode, we were incredibly lucky to have the chance to talk with Mike Hermann about his company's new game: RetroMania Wrestling, which is a wonderful throwback to the 2D arcade wrestling games of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. We talked to Mike about all his favourite wrestling games, the real stinkers, inspirations for the new title, and the expansive roster in RetroMania Wrestling.
We'd definitely recommend checking this game out because it looks like a lot of fun. Especially for those who like to play couch-based, multiplayer, pickup-and-play arcade games.

If I've done this right (and the chances are pretty slim, at best) there should be chapter markers in this week's episode. if you're reading these notes, then you should be able to see them somewhere in your podcatcher. Let us know whether it worked - I won't know until the episode drops.
In this episode, we caught up with The B and talked about the recent games we've been playing, about the 5 big games of 2020 so far, and the idea of role-playing a specific goose in a specific game - neither of which are related to one another.
Which game and which goose? You'll have to listen to find out. But make sure that you stick around to the end because there's a little bonus right at the last moment.

With last week's episode covering Squidge and Jay's favourite Survival Horror games, they wanted to go back and talk about the honourable mentions. This time they discuss a cornucopia (big word, eh) of survival horror games in this episode. These are the games which were just shy of being included on their lists from last time.
Which games did we choose? You'll have to listen in order to find out.
Because we discuss survival horror games, this episode may not be suitable for young ears. Please make sure to listen responsibly.

Squidge and Jay are back in the recording booth at Waffling Taylors HQ. This time, they talk about their favourite Survival Horror games. Each Waffler brought their top three favourites, and are tasked with describing why it should be considered one of the best in the genre.

Also included in this episode is a silly competition: can you guess what we're quoting? If so, get in touch via the comments on the full show notes, over on Twitter, or on Facebook. The competition only runs until episode 72 is released (which is due to drop on March 20th), so get your guesses in now!

Squidge and Jay step into the recording booth at Waffling Taylors HQ to discuss what their version of the PlayStation Classic would have shipped with. It was partially based on a bonus episode of the Arcade Attack podcast called: Bonus Podcast: PlayStation Classic Wrongness.
After Jay set the challenge: "Imagine that you have an unlimited budget (to deal with licensing issues), go through the games on the PlayStation Classic and replace the ones that you'll never play with ones from your dream line up," we also use podcast magic to assume that the games will just boot and run flawlessly - which is something that will only work if you use a SNES Mini.
Which games did we choose? You'll have to listen in order to find out.

Squidge and Jay step back into the recording booth at Waffling Taylors HQ to discuss which games would be on their dream Mega Drive Mini, again. This time they finish off their discussion about their dream line up for the Mega Drive Mini.
After Jay set the challenge: "Imagine that you have an unlimited budget (to deal with licensing issues), go through the games on the Mega Drive Mini and replace the ones that you'll never play with ones from your dream line up," it would be impossible to respond on the pod. Which games did we choose? You'll have to listen in order to find out.

Chief is back for the third time in a row - it's almost like we record these in batches, or something. We talk about our dream Mini consoles, use metaphors that don't really work, discuss the pitfalls of consoles at launch (and why you should never do that), and a little on DRM and why it's both pointless (because it ALWAYS harms legit consumers) and actually quite good (content creators have to protect their stuff somehow).
