  • The Daily Mess We Are Made Well But

A thought was given to me.  One that seems to be weight in the way I

think.  “We are made well but not made to
last.” It almost sounds like a business mantra. We want it to break so you’ll
buy it again and keep us in business.
The quote gives us reason to live and trust in all things right now. We
know our strengths but how long will they last?
Life is about cliffhangers and great unsolved mysteries.  But who will be there to write the final
    page?

  • Jock Bartley From Firefall The Friends And Family One Album

JOCK BARTLEY is known for his melodic, tasteful and

fiery lead guitar style - his playing has influenced many rock &
roll and country rock guitarists who have come in later generations.

Born in Hutchinson, Kansas, Jock moved to the

mountains above Manitou Springs, Colorado in 1959. At nine years old he
began taking guitar lessons from the jazz guitar legend, JOHNNY SMITH,
in Colorado Springs in 1960, calling his five year
relationship with his teacher/mentor, "about the best thing that ever
happened to me." He was playing Bach and Duke Ellington by the age of 11
and 12, but then in 1964 The Beatles played on Ed Sullivan and changed
the world. "That's when I knew I wanted to
be in a rock band." And when a few years later, hearing recordings of
Eric Clapton and B.B. King, his musical focus sharpened. After
graduating high school, where he'd been an Honor Roll student and top
scorer on the basketball team, Jock attended the University
of Colorado in Boulder as an art major. "When I had to finally decide
what I was going to do with my life - art, music, writing, drama - it
was quite an easy decision. Playing guitar was the single best thing I
    did, and most fun."

  • Stream Thinking Planting Thoughts

Planting thoughts on a page on days when you don't know what you're going to say. But as you write your body begins to receive. This is where most creative people walk away from the page. They begin to question the physical act of participating with an idea that's got nothing to do with their self image. Everything we are is a sliver of all things around us.

  • Andrew Howell Releases The Book Beyond

“I hope people feel a different perspective on life after reading my book,” says Howell.

“I inject a lot of philosophy and satire into my work. I consider
myself an absurdist, which is basically a nihilist with a goofy
mustache. My concoctions offer a made-up world so people can be happy
and feel free to debate the ideas put forth in my work. I love to engage
    the reader with humor.”
“I’ve always been creating and making art,” says Howell.
“In elementary school, I doodled in class and did not take notes.
Schoolmates weighed in on how I should develop the characters and
storylines. I love consuming and sharing stories, and to express myself
in a very visual medium is great for getting certain ideas across.”
    Howell was
discovered by his employer, Pencilmation, an online cartoon channel,
after it saw his popular Jolly Biscuit comic drawings. He now
storyboards for cartoons geared to children ages 6-12.
