  • The Daily Mess Religion vs Spiritual

    May 30, 2023

I was recently asked about the difference between religion and

    spirituality.  Although I’m deep into
    both

I wanted to reach out for a more educated answer. What I found was

religion is a specific set of organized beliefs shared by a community or
    group.  Spirituality is about developing
your beliefs around the meaning of life and or a true connection with others.  The young man asking me the question took in
the answer and held onto them tightly.
Then he came back with “I’m feeling something and I don’t know how to
deal with it.”  To which I replied “It’s
a new step for you!  You’re supposed to
have questions.  You’ll have them the
rest of your life.  Whatever path you
choose it’s an amazing path to study.
Take plenty of notes and keep reaching outward.”

Patagonia, The North Face and Esprit -- and turned their attention to a
visionary effort to create national parks throughout Chile and Argentina via
their nonprofit Tompkins Conservation. WILD LIFE chronicles the
highs and lows of their journey to affect the largest private land donation in
    history.
    WILD LIFE comes from
Oscar®-winning filmmakers Jimmy Chin and his wife Chai
Vasarhelyi, the directing team behind Free Solo which took home

    Court TV will premiere a

new, original 10-episode documentary series "Accomplice to Murder with
Vinnie Politan" on Sunday, May 7 at 8 p.m.

    "Accomplice to Murder with

Vinnie Politan" looks beyond the usual suspects to tell the gripping
stories of everyday people caught up in a world of deception and
manipulation as they become accomplices to murder. Court TV lead anchor
Vinnie Politan hosts and travels across the country to speak with the
accomplices - the convicted, the condemned as well as the exonerated -
who provide a unique window into cases whose verdicts might not be as
clear-cut as initially thought. Veteran Court
TV producers help guide viewers through the dramatic twists and turns
as each trial unfolds. The series was drawn from Court TV's massive
library of hundreds of trials spanning three decades.
