  • Lindsay Berra And Sean Mullin Release The Documentary It Aint Over

    Lawrence Peter "Yogi"

Berra is one of baseball's all-time greatest superstars. He amassed 10
World Series rings, three American League MVP awards and 18 All-Star
Game appearances. He caught the only perfect game in World Series
    history
in 1956. Yet for many observers his prolific accomplishments on the
diamond were overshadowed by his remarkable and unique appeal as a pop
culture personality. Long before athletes endorsing products became
commonplace, Yogi was starring in TV commercials
and connecting with fans from every demographic. His groundbreaking TV
commercial appearances and unforgettable "Yogi-isms," which initially
appeared to be head-scratching philosophical nuggets, became fashionable
catch-phrases that made him a national treasure
and an endearing figure on the American pop culture landscape.

In telling the complete story of his extraordinary journey, It Ain't Over chronicles

    Berra's life as a savvy, commanding, bad-ball-hitting-catcher with a
squat frame but also a D-Day Navy veteran, coach and manager, loving
husband and father and, yes, product endorser and originator (mostly) of
his own brand of proverbs now ingrained into
everyday life. First person accounts include granddaughter Lindsay
Berra, Yogi's three sons (Tim, Larry, and Dale), plus a legion of former
Yankee greats, including Derek Jeter, Joe Torre, Mariano Rivera, Willie
Randolph, Don Mattingly, Tony Kubek and Ron
Guidry. Also featured are Billy Crystal, Bob Costas and Vin Scully,
plus photos and eye-opening archival footage on and off the diamond.

Berra famously said, "I'd be pretty dumb if I started being something I'm not," and It Ain't Over lovingly

makes clear he stayed who he was for the benefit of baseball and
everyone else. Berra was born on May 12th, 1925 in St Louis, Missouri in
a neighborhood known as "The Hill." He spent his entire professional
career playing in New York with the Yankees and briefly
with the Mets, before retiring in 1965. Montclair, New Jersey was home
for Yogi and his wife, Carmen. In 1972 he was elected to the National
Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. That same year his iconic
uniform No. 8 was retired by the Yankees. In 1988,
the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center opened its doors on the
campus of Montclair State University. He passed away at the age of 90 in
    2015

  • Dr Jean Twenge Releases The Book Generations

    They have had vastly

different life experiences and thus, one assumes, they must have vastly
diverging beliefs and behaviors. But what are those differences, what
causes them, and how deep do they actually run?

Professor of psychology and "reigning expert on generational change" (Lisa Wade, PhD, author of American Hookup),

Jean Twenge does a deep dive into a treasure trove of long-running,
government-funded surveys and databases to answer
these questions. Are we truly defined by major historical events, such
as the Great Depression for the Silents and September 11 for
Millennials? Or, as Twenge argues, is it the rapid evolution of
    technology that differentiates the generations?

    With her clear-eyed and

insightful voice, Twenge explores what the Silents and Boomers want out
of the rest of their lives; how Gen X-ers are facing middle age; the
ideals of Millennials as parents and in the workplace; and how Gen Z
has been changed by COVID, among other fascinating topics.

Surprising, engaging, and informative, Generations will

forever change the way you view your parents, peers, coworkers, and
children, no matter which generation you call your own.

  • Harper Grace The Song Oh Say Can You See

    Newly

signed Curb Records recording artist Harper Grace is a Texas native
with dreams the size of her home state. The rising country star’s
initial experience in the spotlight came
at just 11 years old when her first public performance of the National
Anthem didn’t go as planned, eliciting widespread criticism from an
array of online observers and media outlets. Seven years later, the
“American Idol” alum redeemed herself by returning
to the same stadium and nailing a version of the patriotic song. Now
residing in Nashville and on the heels of her single “Sparkle,” Harper
Grace is set to release “Oh Say Can You See,” which is an
autobiographical track she penned for her 11-year-old self.
The rising country star also recently sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at
the 2023 Preds Girls Classic, as well as the SEC Men’s Basketball
Tournament — both held in Music City. Further proving her early critics
wrong, Harper Grace will continue to perform the
National Anthem at a variety of NHL games, MLB games, NWSL and MLS
matches, a Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, and other
conferences and sporting events throughout the year. Harper’s upcoming
performances include the following, as well as more to

  • Dwayne Epstein Releases The Book Killin' Generals The Making Of The Dirty Dozen

"Killin' generals could get to be a habit with me." - The Dirty Dozen

The year 1967 saw the release of such recognized classics as Bonnie & Clyde, The Graduate, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?, Cool Hand Luke and In

The Heat of the Night. But a plucky, oddball, unconventional and controversial war movie with lousy reviews outgrossed them all.

    The Dirty Dozen, with its

incredible ensemble of players portraying angry criminals and misfits,
forced into a suicide mission by people in power, resonated with
audiences living through political turmoil, societal change, and the
    escalation
of the Vietnam War. The film was not only an unanticipated sleeper hit,
but went on to garner four Academy Awards, and is now regarded as one
of the most popular WWII movies of all time.

KILLIN' GENERALS: The Making of The Dirty Dozen, the Most Iconic WWII Movie of All Time (on-sale

April 25, 2023) takes its name from a line in the
film. Released in 1967 and directed by Robert Aldrich, the film has
resonating themes of redemption, loyalty, hypocrisy, competition,
brutality, antiauthoritarianism, and nonconformity, in a killer plot
performed by an all star cast. Its star power included
Donald Sutherland, Ernest Borgnine, Charles Bronson, Telly Savalas,
George Kennedy, football player-turned-actor Jim Brown, and John
Cassavetes, who would go on to win an Academy Award. It also transformed
Lee Marvin's career, moving from supporting character
to major movie star. While film critics saw it as hopelessly flawed and
even immoral, audiences ate it up - and today it's considered a classic
and in the pantheon of great war movies.
