Episode 73 Hip Surgery, Refrigeration Down And Is He Drunk Or Sick
This is C.T.C.S
Hey it’s Arroe and this is Pod-fest Episode 22
Three back to back conversations with real people we know through entertainment, politics, science, medical or cooking in the kitchen. They’re played back to back. The lyrics we share in the everyday world makes this a great place to bring their story.
Pod-fest 22 features my 2016 conversation with actor Alex Meneses from NBC’s Telenova. Then we’ll jump into a moment with comedian Ali Colbert who was part of Tru TV’s Top Secret Video. And we’ll wrap things up with the legendary and always upbeat and fun Pam Grier.

Vivid dreams. They feel more real than the everyday world. Then something triggers you. It's not real! REM plays a huge role in the creation of mental moving pictures. Combined with the cerebral cortex, we're able to view the images, hear sound and experience sensation. The truer name is Lucid. My dreams come with a narrator. I wake up mainly to calm down the storyteller. It's a horrible habit! I connect every sleepless night to my personal need to always want to know the time.
This inspirational mother-daughter memoir follows two women on a poignant journey through a landscape of legacy and loss. As they road-trip through the national parks of the American West, they explore the ever-changing terrain of dementia, deep remembrance, and motherhood.
Steph Jagger lost her mother before she lost her. Stricken with an incurable disease that slowly erases all sense of self, Steph’s mother struggles to remember her favorite drink, her favorite song, and—perhaps most heartbreaking of all—Steph herself. As the woman who loved and raised her begins to slip away, Steph makes a promise: to write her mother’s story before it’s entirely lost.
Aware of her mother’s waning memory, Steph proposes a camping trip—which her mother, on the urging of Steph’s father, agrees to embark upon. An adventure full of horseback riding, hiking, and “tenting” out West quickly turns into one woman’s reflection on the mysteries tucked inside ourselves and our ancestry—and what it means to love someone who doesn’t quite remember the person she spent her lifetime becoming.
A staggeringly beautiful examination of how stories are passed down through generations and from Mother Nature, Everything Left to Remember brings us the wisdom of remembrance under the constellations of the vast Montana sky.

I’m not one to leave a sheet of paper silent. The invisible voices speak louder than the number eleven featured in the movie Spinal Tap. I’m allowed to scrape off the chalk and somehow words and thoughts appear. They were placed there while part of the inner core of rings in a living tree. So much content. Not enough ears. So we turn to a sheet of paper featuring words. Planting all shapes of emotion and true connection. Always prepared to comeback a different day whereas a verbal conversation never appears the same way twice.
Pod Crashing Episode 199 With Alex And Nigel From More Than A Movie American Me
When Edward James Olmos set out on his directorial debut, American Me, he wanted to accomplish two things: to represent Chicano culture on the big screen and to save part of his community from gang violence. But when people were allegedly murdered because of their participation in the film and Olmos himself was allegedly extorted by the real-life Mexican Mafia, it exposed the unintended risks of trying to represent someone with an agenda in mind, even a well-meaning one.
Alex Fumero and producer Nigel Duara delve into the true story of American Me and the legacy the controversial film left behind.
Thank you for being part of the conversation. This is Play It Forward. Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward Episode 564 With Kimiko Glenn And Michael Croner From KIFF
KIFF is a new animated buddy-comedy about an optimistic squirrel of the same name (voiced by Kimiko Glenn) and her chill bunny bestie Barry (voiced by H Michael Croner).
From creators and executive producers Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal, Kiff follows Kiff and Barry as they navigate school, relationships and their often-eccentric community in Table Town, a world where animals and magical oddballs tackle day-to-day life together. In addition to Kimiko Glenn and H Michael Croner as Kiff and Barry, respectively, the series features Lauren Ash and James Monroe Iglehart (as Kiff's parents), Rhys Darby, Kate Flannery, and Eugene Cordero.
Inspired by the people and places Heavens and Smal experienced when they were growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, each half-hour episode, comprised of two 11-minute stories, will include a new original song.
1954: The Winter Soldier is the Soviet Union's greatest weapon. Assigned the most dangerous covert missions from the USSR's secret military branch and guided by a handler who knows him better than he knows himself, he has only one purpose: to obey orders. But he wasn't always the Winter Soldier . . . 1941: As World War II begins, sixteen-year-old Bucky Barnes is determined to enlist in the US army—if only the local commander will stop getting in his way. When Bucky is offered enrollment in a training program with the British Special Operations Executive—the UK's secret service—he leaps at the chance to become a hero. But Bucky has hardly touched down in London when he finds himself running from a mysterious assassin and accompanied by an English chess champion fond of red lipstick and double crosses. She's in possession of a secret every side is desperate to get their hands on. If only they knew what it was . . . Decades later, the Winter Soldier struggles to solve the same mystery Bucky is just beginning to uncover. As their missions intersect across time, their lives collide too—in a way that neither of them would have expected, and that will change the course of their respective wars.
In The Winter Soldier: Cold Front, New York Times best-selling author Mackenzi Lee explores the youth of one of Marvel's most compelling characters, James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes—and the enemy soldier he is forced to become.
