  • The Daily Mess New Age Isolation

The definition of isolation:  The process and or fact of isolating or being isolated.  To isolate is to be or remain alone.  Billions of people worldwide experienced isolation during the Covid lock down of 2020.  Not so much these days.  The masses are turning their heads.  I dealt with a coworker who came to work twice after being diagnosed with Covid.  What is the definition of isolation in his life?  While Twitter and other corporations are forcing their employees back to the office, those in attendance need to know their rights.  Covid isn't going away.  Yet it's being treated like the common cold and flu.  Is there a law that protects people?  Contact health officials and OSHA.  They know the definition of isolation.  It hasn't changed.

This is Play It Forward. Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward Episode 542 Dr. Andreas Michaelides From NOOM

When it comes to your goals — whether they are related to developing a sustainable, healthy relationship with food, jump-starting a fitness routine, or mitigating a health issue — how you think influences everything you do in your attempt to reach those goals. Having the right mindset is key to any successful change in behavior, but it’s also the most neglected element of setting and achieving your goals. You might know what you should do, but what matters is why you want to do it, and how you’re going to do it in a way that works for you long-term.

  • Sharon Gless Returns With Apparently There Were Complaints

"Apparently There Were Complaints" delves into Sharon's remarkable career and explores her complicated family, struggles with alcoholism, and her fear of romantic commitment as well as her encounters with some of Hollywood's biggest names from Tyne Daly, to Rosie O'Donnell, Steven Spielberg, Angela Lansbury, Lorne Michaels, Michael Douglas, and many more. Brutally honest and incredibly relatable, she puts it all out on the page in the same way she has lived-never with moderation.

A fifth-generation Californian, Sharon knew from a young age that she wanted to be an actress, and was the granddaughter of one of the most famous and powerful entertainment attorneys during the Golden Age of Hollywood, Neil S. McCarthy, who represented Howard Hughes, Cecil B. DeMille, Mary Pickford, Katharine Hepburn. After some rocky teenage years that included her parents' divorce and some minor (and not-so-minor) rebellion, she landed a coveted spot as an exclusive contract player for Universal Studios. In 1982, she stepped into the role of New York Police Detective Christine Cagney for the series "Cagney & Lacey," which reached an audience of 30 million weekly viewers and garnered Sharon two Emmy Awards. The show made history as the first hour-long drama to feature two women in the leading roles.

  • The Daily Mess Waking Up The Monster

Another series of bad dreams.  I keep searching for a running theme.  Dreams take place inside REM.  1st stage REM isn't the beginning of a dream.  They usually appear during the late stages of sleep.  Sleep deprivation is a serious issue for millions around the world.  What's caused yours?  I'm a 43 year radio professional who's done overnight radio to high energy morning show radio.  3:45am means two completely different things to each of those performances.  But it wasn't those chapters that put me in a series of bad dreams last evening.  Mediation music did.
