Aging is a huge part of what we do in life. I'm blown away by how we act and react to something that is completely natural. We try to cut it away, colorize it or deny it's even happening. Where are you in the art of aging?

We are living in a time period where it is time to get to the source of the purpose. Even if we don't agree with each other this is a moment where we need to unite. There's too much negativity. Space must be created to locate the olive branch. I have three beautiful doves but they aren't strong enough to fly around the world. We have to make the connection. Like Jazz it won't be perfect but we have the power to grow forward.

A coworker endlessly asks me if there's ever been a song that's moved me to change something in my life. Questions like this are extremely difficult because for 46 years music hasn't been my escape. It's my job! From radio stations, to being a mobile dj to interviewing the biggest names in music. What moves me are the things on the opposite side of my job.

Being spiritual is a never ending process of building platforms that invite fruit to our lives. It requires hope, faith and trust. Unlike fruit that's devoured we need to invest in that hope, faith and trust in the way of stepping into the community and teaching others how to reach it then outreach it. We need to wear the energy without looking like preachers and missionaries. Being present with our presence.
