Welcome back, everyone! Time to do some more contrasts! For those of you who didn't tune into my IELTS writing a few weeks ago, I'm going over it again in general English form. 

Less and fewer are comparatives.  They are the opposite of more.  Use fewer with count nouns and less with non count nouns. 

Least and fewest are superlatives.  They are the opposite of most.

Welcome back to another live coaching, everyone! I'm excited to bring you the follow up of last week's video.  Today is the mini-test, which is compiled of 6 questions.  You will have to look at the questions first, but I do advise you to do them before I go over them.  Nonetheless, for people on my podcast (listening), they're going to have to follow each question and each answer as I go.  So, I'll repeat these questions out loud with the answers, and then I'll go over the potential answers. I was thinking of doing 12 questions, but I think that would be far too much for my viewers out there. I, instead, decided to go with 6.

Yes! All of these combined and for the future! This is going to be a difficult one, so please,  prepare yourselves for a long podcast and blog! We're getting into the Intermediate realm now.

1a - Match the sentences (a-d) with the rules (1-4)

a. In the next few weeks, leaders of the world are meeting to discuss climate change.

b. When you get home this evening, what will you watch on TV?

c. Some people say this will be the future of technology.

d. It appears that it's going to be difficult to produce fresh food in the future.

Rules

1. We use the present simple with time expressions like when, after, before, as soon as to talk about the future.
2. We use the present continuous to talk about fixed, confirmed future arrangements.
3. We use will to make general predictions.
4. We use be going to to make predictions based on some sort of evidence.

Welcome back to another Facebook live/coaching Saturday/Tuesday! Yes, I'm adding in both days and both titles so no one gets confused. With that being said, let's get into the basics. 

A. Conjunctions are used to join two parts of a sentence together and express their relationships.  What you need to do is look at two halves of the sentence before and after the conjunction to help you choose the correct word.

Here we go, people! Some more vocabulary is on the board for today! Synonyms and Antonyms are my favorite, and this is why most of you should develop first your synonyms, then find out the opposite meanings.  Again, this can reduce the recycling.

For those of you who do not know, synonyms have similar meanings.  Antonyms have opposite meanings. 

Advantage:         Synonym - Benefit;      Antonym - Disadvantage

Wealthier:          Synonym - Richer;       Antonym - Poorer
