Assalam o alaikum and hello to my dear vibes community. This is my entry in the vibes web3 music competition week 38. Today I have sung a beautiful and romantic song of Bollywood 90's movie Saajan. The title of the song is dekha hai pehli bar saajan ki aankhon men piyar...which is evergreen song sung by Alka Yagnik famous playback singer of Bollywood music industry and S.P. Here's the Urdu lyrics of song.
    Dekha hai pehli baar
Saajan ki aankhon mein pyar (x2)
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
    Dilbar tujhe milne ko
    Kabse tha main bekarar
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
    Dekha hai pehli baar
    Saajan ki aankhon mein pyar
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
Palkein jhukaun, tujhe dil mein basaun
Ab bin tere main to kahin chain na paaun (x2)
Tu mera jigar hai, tu meri nazar hai
Tu meri aarzu, tu mera humsafar hai
    Dekha hai pehli baar
    Saajan ki aankhon mein pyar
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
    Meri adaayen, yeh meri jawani
Bas tere liye hai yeh meri zindgani (x2)
Tu meri gazal hai, tu mera tarana
Aa teri dhadkano pe likh doon dil ka fasana
    Dekha hai pehli baar
    Saajan ki aankhon mein pyar
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
    Dekha hai pehli baar
    Jaanam ki aankhon mein pyar
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
    Dilbar tujhe milne ko
    Kabse tha main bekarar
Ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar
    Dekha hai pehli baar
    Saajan ki aankhon mein pyar
Here's a poetic translation of the song lyrics into English:
*I've seen love in your eyes for the first time*
*My restless heart has finally found peace*
*I've been longing to meet you, my beloved*
*My restless heart has finally found peace*
*I'll bow my head and place you in my heart*
*Without you, I'll find no peace anywhere*
*You're my soul, you're my vision*
*You're my desire, you're my partner*
    *My gestures, my youth*
*Everything is for you, this is my life*
*You're my poem, you're my melody*
*Let me write the story of my heart on your heartbeat*
*I've seen love in your eyes for the first time*
*My restless heart has finally found peace*

  • My Entry In The Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 37
Assalam o alaikum and hello to my #vibes community. How are you friends i hope everyone is well and i am also well. This is my entry in the vibes web3 music competition week 37. I have performed a beautiful classic ghazal of urdu language which was sung by my favorite and legendary singer Atta Ullah Essa Khelvi. It is a very heart touching sad song...I am always thankful to @lordbutterfly and judges of the competition @verbal-d and @silentscreamer. I hope you will all enjoy my entry and appreciate me. Thank you very much.
Here's a translation of Urdu Lyrics:
He was not unaware of the heart matters...
He was part of this home, not a stranger...
Those who lit up the cities, otherwise our village would be a desolate land
He was not unaware of the heart matters...
When I held you close, you were young and blind
But when you left, and you were not naive anymore
He was not unaware of the heart matters...
Farooq asks about my heart, with a casual air
No burden to him, just a friendly concern to share
He was not unaware of the heart matters...
He was part of this home, not a stranger...

Come to my homeland and see my condition
    Happiness is your fate...

Can't stay even a moment without you, my love
Your face is like a balm, I wish to see it once
Come to homeland and see my condition
    Happiness is your fate...
    Life apart feels very tough
Hard to stitch the heart with hands
Come to my homeland and settle the world for me
Come to my homeland and see my condition
    Happiness is your fate...
Heart, why don't you forget, why does someone else see
Your smile, your walk, I see it in my dreams

Come to my homeland and see my condition
    Happiness is your fate...
Let's dive deeper into the themes and emotions expressed in these lyrics.
The lyrics seem to convey a sense of longing and separation, with the speaker yearning for their homeland and loved ones. The lines "Aye dil tedi judai hik pal vi saah ni sakda" (Oh heart, can't bear even a moment of this separation) and "Kamla he door ten tun hik pal vi rah ni sakda" (Can't stay even a moment without you, my love) highlight the intensity of the speaker's emotions.

Here's the translation of the song lyrics.
She cast a spell, a magic so fine,
With beauty's radiance, heart and mind.
Stolen peace, my heart doth ache,
Her eyes, like kohl, darkness make.
Her gaze, like cups of darkness deep,
    Nazareth's beauty, she doth keep.
She cast a spell, a magic so fine,
With beauty's radiance, heart and mind.
The contours of her face, a work of art,
Yusuf's beauty, she'd capture the heart.
She cast a spell, a magic so fine,
In my heart, she's made her shrine.
Helpless, I'm bound by her gentle might,
In her gaze, my soul takes flight.
She cast a spell, a magic so fine,
With beauty's radiance, heart and mind.

Today I have sung a cover of an Urdu song sung by Pakistani and internationally renowned singer Attaullah Esakhelvi. My native language is saraiki and urdu is my second language. It is a very sad song in which the lover is trapped in the love of his beloved and expresses his helplessness. This is probably my first and only entry with the harmonium in this week in the #vibes community. I have also sung a song with the harmonium for the first time in previous week. I hope you like it.I am grateful for all the vibes community especially @verbal-d,@silentscreamer and @lordbutterfly.
The lyrics of the song is here.
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
Ban gya rog zindagi ke lye
Jo na krna tha wo bhi kr dala
Hum ne zalim teri khushi ke lye
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
Ban gya rog zindagi ke lye
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
    Apki maang men sitare hen
Hum taraste hain roshni ke lye
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
Ban gya rog zindagi ke lye
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
Saare jhagre hi zindagi tak hain
Kaun marta hai phir kisi ke lye
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
Ban gya rog zindagi ke lye
Dil lagaya tha dil lagi ke lye
Here's a translation of the lyrics:
I invested my heart for love
    It became a lifelong affliction
We did things we shouldn't have
For your happiness, oh cruel one
I invested my heart for love
    It became a lifelong affliction
    Your forehead shines with stars
    We yearn for the light
    All struggles are lifelong
    Who dies for someone's sake?
I invested my heart for love
    It became a lifelong affliction

It is a romantic and melodious song.I have sung a cover of this song. I hope you like it. I am also very grateful to the esteemed judges of this Vibes community @verbal-d,@silentscreamer and organizer @lordbutterfly.
This is the first time I have played a musical instrument in my performance in the #vibes community. I really enjoyed the experience of singing in this community with the harmonium.I hope I will be encouraged so that I can do better.Thank you very much.
Here's the lyrics of the song.
Tum ne kaha tha jis mausam men phool khilen ge
Us mausam ke aate hi men laut aun ga....
Aajaa ke surkh gulab ki rut aayee hai saajan
Tera rasta takte takte beet na jai saawan...
Aise mausam men kab tujh ko bhool main paun ga
Tum ne kaha tha jis mosom men phool khilen ge
Us mausam ke aate hi men laut aun ga....
Saanwal ye mast hawa ki meethi meethi Lori
Tere mere piyar ki saajan toot na Jai doori....
Tere mere piyar ka Bandhan toote men na chahun ga
Tum ne kaha tha jis mausam men phool khilen ge
Us mausam ke aate hi men laut aun ga....
Sajnaan yaad aati hen jab wo piyar ki baaten
Sindh kinaare guzre wo din barsaaton ki raaten
Bin tere main geet sureele kese gaaun ga....
Tum ne kaha tha jis mosom men phool khilen ge
Us mosam ke aate hi men laut aun ga....
Here's the translation of the lyrics in English:
"You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom,
I would return as soon as that season arrives.
Now, my love, the season of red roses is here,
Don't let the monsoon pass while waiting for me.
In such a season, how can I ever forget you?
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom,
I would return as soon as that season arrives.
These warm, intoxicating breezes whisper sweet lullabies,
My love, may the distance between us not separate us.
May the bond of our love not break, even if I'm far away,
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom,
I would return as soon as that season arrives.
My love, memories of you linger when I recall those loving words,
Those days spent by the Indus River, those rainy nights.
Without you, how can I sing melodious songs?
You had promised that in the season when flowers bloom,
I would return as soon as that season arrives."
In the last verse of the song, the poet refers to the Indus River which passes through my hometown, in the thumbnail of my video I am also on the bank of the Indus River.
Note: "Sajan" and "Sajnaan" are terms of endearment, similar to "beloved" or "my love".
    The theme of these lyrics.
*Longing and Yearning for a Loved One's Return*
The song's narrator is reminiscing about a promise made by their beloved to return in the season of blooming flowers. The narrator is now in that season, surrounded by the beauty of nature (red roses, monsoon rains), but is feeling incomplete without their loved one.
Overall, the theme is a romantic and melancholic expression of love, longing, and separation.
