In 1983 a teenage girl who was a resident of the Vatican (yep, that Vatican) went missing after a mysterious man offered her a job selling Avon products after her flute lessons.  This would catch the attention of the Pope and his enemies where her supposed captives would offer her release in exchange for the man who attempted to assassinate the Pope just a few years earlier....and the Pope doesn't negotiate with terrorists...forgives them....but DOES NOT NEGOTIATE WITHT THEM

in August of 1991 the old guard from the Soviet Union attempted a Coupe to over thrown the burgeoning 'democracy' that was to be a westernized version of Russa. This failed due to lack of military support, general public interest , and the sheer energy of the Russian youth To reward these efforts, the country 'gifted' the largest heavy metal concert in recorded history where an audience of 1.6 MILLION (in Dr. Evil voice) fans watched Pantera, The Black Crows, METALLICA, and AC/DC perform. Not only were these career defining performances for Pantera and Metallica, but it also was the bookend  to the last days of the Soviet Union.

This week we travel up North to Oregon where we take a look at one of the creepiest places near Portland. We're talking about the local legend called "The Temple of Oculus Anubis". Oculus Anubis Translates to "Eye of Anubis" who was the Egyptian God of the afterlife and for some effin' reason someone built a giant compound of Egyptian statues, pyramids, and all kinds of structures reminiscent to things you'd see in the desert of Cairo. BUT these were located eerily in the forests of Damascus, Oregon. Many locals believed it may be a doomsday cult, human traffickers, OR SATANISTS! Join us this week as we CRACK THE CODE...or more or less just rehash what we saw on a YouTube video.
