Art Ballad

We interview Erik Labossiere, photographer, musician, videographer, among several other great things. He talks about his history and present with art, his success in trying new things, and best of all: why it's SO important to express what others may see as taboo. Whether it be sexuality, depression, or anything under the umbrella of "darkness". Erik tells stories for empowerment and he tells us why.

Randi brings us the topic of Not Art Art. We discuss what we believe to be different forms of art that may not be seen as such from the masses or traditionalists: Hair Dressing/Styling and Floral Design.

Let us know what you think. Are these things art? What's a passion of yours that may be going unnoticed as art?

THE MARQUIS DE SADE! We watch his biopic, "Quills", give you some history on him, recap the movie, and dissect our favorite quotes!

It wouldn't be an Art Ballad if it wasn't controversial! The Marquis de Sade was a french writer in the 1700's whom the terms, "sadism" and "sadist" are named after - this is a spicy one!

Next week we have a LIVING writer that will be the subject of our very first interview, stay tuned, it's going to be a fun one!
