The event featured local talent from all over Southeast MN and functioned as a fundraiser for a local youth missions’ trip in the area. Today, we take you to the basement of Rushford Lutheran Church to see the show. The idea for the production came when the local missions committee was looking for a fun way to fundraise, while giving back to the community. What better way than with a show about a church basement, put on in a church basement? I’m Annika Bakkum-Ekern, grab a sweet treat, sit back and relax as we take you to Rushford Lutheran Church for "Church Basement Ladies", today on Art Beat.
