This little handmade book is a collection of listener-submitted artwork: poetry, paintings, drawings, felting, photography, sewing, stories and more.

The best part (we think!) is reading what it's like for other people when they make stuff - each artist tells us a bit about the significance of what they made. It's vulnerable and warm and very very special.

The digital one is free if u want and the paper one has a base cost of $8CAD to pay for printing and shipping (it's hand cut, folded, and bound by Jess!).

All "pay what you want" goes towards editing the podcast, giving us weekends back for art-making and directly supporting us and the podcast 🤘Thank you so much for your support!!

• Your learning projects don’t have to be perfect. They don’t even have to be nice. In fact, they can be bum-ugly
• Trying something new? Start small, use ENOUGH material, use colours you like, scour internet for basic techniques
• You do a finite number of things in your life ???  ( HATE IT )

• Knitting projects should **start** with the hard part

• You’re not alone: LOTS of people took (classical) piano lessons as a kid and most of them don’t play anymore (and feel bad about it).

We’re putting together a digital zine to celebrate our collective stepping-out-of-comfort-zone-edness, our unfinished projects, and the messiness of art-making.

We’re looking for:

✨A picture of something you’ve made that’s significant to you, you’re proud of, or you’re stuck on and is unfinished, OR

✨Any writing you’d like to share

✨A little blurb about what the piece means to you, how you felt makin it, what was hard about it, how it brought you out of your comfort zone, what you learned (if it’s unfinished) what’s holding you back, or anything else you’d like to tell us about it. You know us, we’re especially interested in this part.

It’s free to submit, and the zine will be available by pay-what-u-want (including zero), all $$ will go towards paying Noble to edit the podcast haha

• YOU are so important that it doesn’t matter if you do important/impressive things
• Taking care of yourself (SLEEP) can make stressful situations up to 50% less stressful (u heard it here first)
• To trust yourself, you gotta be kind to urself --- if you always call yourself an idiot you won't trust yourself because “who’d trust an idiot??”
• Reality check: hot pink scrotum scarf is probably more “rural eccentricity” than “city slicker” (and on that note, maybe you do actually get to be whoever you want?)
• Starting new projects doesn’t necessarily mean you’re abandoning old projects
• It's not humanly possible to whip stiff peaks (sorry Greg)
