    After years of building a career in corporate and working long hours, Heather found herself feeling unfulfilled in life.

    Even though she had the 6-figure salary, she was scared of money and realized she was just surviving day-to-day. She then spent time getting really honest with herself and what she truly wanted in life.

    It turns out, it was not a corporate career, a white picket fence and 2.5 children.

    She started a bookkeeping business, helping new entrepreneurs understand their finances. Soon after, she realized many people were avoiding their finances - not only their business finances, but their personal finances too!

    It became her mission to understand why so many people could not seem to so something as simple as look at their bank account. She soon discovered that the problem was a deeply embedded trauma response and people were letting fear run the show of our lives, masking it with the belief of being a problem with money.

    The truth was, people knew exactly what to do with their money. They were simply stuck on not knowing how to overcome the fear long enough to do the things they knew could be done to accomplish their financial dreams.

    This is where Heather comes in. She works with clients to understand why they are thinking and feeling the way they do. This leads to different behavior and eventually different outcomes.

    Heather is a certified Master Mind Magic practitioner, certified Rich Method Coach, and a member of the International Neuro Energetics Association of Coaches and Practitioners. She is also the host of "Unblock Your Money Sh!t" podcast on Spotify and all major podcast platforms.

  • EP26: ARTalk with John Cole Artist: Karen Thomas, Peyton's Promise

    More than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry has led Karen to where she is today. As a young girl, Karen volunteered in animal shelters in eastern Pennsylvania. Her instincts as a natural healer led her to a medical career upon completing a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree at West Chester University.

    Karen worked full time as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and continued her education in holistic medicine over the last 20 years.
    She now works with clients in their homes and remotely, using animal communication and energy healing. She offers solutions to health issues, behavior issues, stress, anxiety, and end of life transitions. Most of these are treated with various energy healing modalities. Karen is passionate about helping to heal animals in shelters, sanctuaries, and rescue organizations.
    Today Karen continues to volunteer with the local rescue organization, Florida Keys SPCA in Marathon, Florida. While she has been involved with FKSPCA since 2003, she took on a more personal role in 2014 when she began implementing the use of calming music, and the diffusing of therapeutic-grade essential oils. This has helped to promote relaxation and healing in the indoor kennel areas by calming the dogs’ nervous systems.
    In addition to establishing Payton’s Promise Sanctuary, Karen is also a Best Selling Author, Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner, and Intuitive Healer. She graduated from Communication with all Life University, where she fine-tuned her skills in animal communication and energy medicine. Karen lives in South Florida with the loves of her life, her dogs.

    Kristi Ferrise was born and raised in the bay area of Northern California. She has lived in Colorado, Virginia, New York and now Marathon, FL.

    Kristi had a successful corporate career where she worked for a large private pension company in Denver, Colorado. In 2001, she relocated to Marathon, FL where she worked at the Dolphin Research Center.
    Kristi retired from teaching in January 2023. She taught Kindergarten for 15 years and then Middle School and High School Art for 5 years in Florida.
    Kristi brings a wealth of experience to the table with a 20-year tenure as a dedicated educator, having taught both Kindergarten and Middle/High School Art.
    In addition to her impressive teaching career, Kristi possesses a fervent commitment to empowering individuals in their path to healing from past traumas. Having triumphed over her own ordeals as a childhood sexual assault survivor and later as a widow, Kristi concealed her struggles under a mask of normalcy. Yet, her journey to personal healing ultimately revealed her inner reservoir of resilience
