This week, Aliyah Kizilbash drops by to talk about life, comedy, and diversity. Her comedy show, Box of Crayons, aims to promote and provide a stage for unique voices from around the world. Aliyah refers to this concept as “global comedy”, believing strongly that breaking down barriers of laughter might help the world understand itself better.

Perpetually empathetic musician Jules Cunningham joins Andy this week for a discussion on therapy through songwriting. Having moved to Chicago from San Francisco for school, Jules is getting used to a life of stability, and the stability of those around him. And not only is Jules part of the band Megan and the Jewels, he also created the roleplaying podcast Demon City Slickers.
