The crew of NASA's Artemis II mission has splashed down into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California, and have been recovered by a team that helped the astronauts exit the Orion capsule.
The capsule with four astronauts on board landed in waters off San Diego at 10.07am, Australian Eastern Standard time, with commander Reid Wiseman saying al four members of the the crew were in excellent shape.
It concludes a history-making 10-day mission, where the Artemis II crew travelled further into space than anyone before them and became the first people to observe the shadowed, far side of the moon.
Energy Minister Chris Bowen has confirmed Australia's reserves for petrol and jet fuel have fallen.
Providing his daily update, Mr Bowen says the nation has 38 days' worth of petrol, 31 days' worth of diesel, and 28 days' worth of jet fuel in reserve, a decrease of one day for petrol and two days for jet fuel.
The reserve for diesel has risen by two days.
The energy minister has assured Australia is as well placed as possible amid the ongoing oil crisis.
