A quick message from Jeff the GM for Lands of Aecathan about what went on this week, and what he hopes will go on next week!

Episode 41: The voyage continues as Aribelle, Tasha, and Zorith continue to hunt for the missing vessel "The Black Parrot." Alongside Captain Urvur and First Mate Nia, the heroes and crew of "The Sea Devil" investigate an emergency beacon from Darkcoast Keep, fight off a cadre of Sahuagin, and finally sight the Parrot, under attack from a vessel the likes of which no one on board the Devil has ever seen: An Orcish Battleship!

RECAP - Episode 37: It's to sea on the pirate-hunting vessel "The Sea Devil" for our trio, as they head out to assist in the search and rescue mission to find the missing "Black Parrot!" Introduced to Nia, the first mate, at first the voyage is a bit icy where Captain Kranangraach is concerned, but once he finds out that they're all officers in the Aecathan Army, his mood softens. But it's an encounter with a mysterious being calling himself "Jehennuon" that really thaws any remaining ice between the Captain and Aribelle, Tasha, and Zorith, as they contribute significantly to saving the ship and its crew!

Episode 40: Concluding our "side adventure" in far-off Western Aeceathan, protectors of Glamaruth (or "Bragnaet" as they're called) Gavin, Krishana, Melerenn, and Rosylnn assist the Hermit of Daka, Verrozz, in exploring the tower of his estranged brother, the Chronurgist Tozak Varon. It seems more and more likely that the answers to the mystery surround the disappearance of the entire population of Daka, animals included, may lie somewhere in this tower, but its defenses are formidable. And even if the answers are found, is there a way to save the town or are its living inhabitants gone for good?

Episode 39: While half of the regular cast is unavailable, we welcome a couple new faces for a campaign set far to the west of Remane Keep, Aermagh, and Thunder's Edge! Glamaruth elite guards Krishana, Gavin, Melerenn, and Roslynn Trueheart have returned with Verrozz, the Hermit of Daka, to investigate the disappearance of the population of that community, including their pets and livestock! Settling on their targets for the day's investigation, they settle on trying to find their way into the interior of the Tower of the chronurgist, Tozak Varon, to try to uncover more clues to the source of depopulation of Daka! But traveling through a mage's tower is never an easy venture!

Episode 38: Side-game alert! Join GM Jeff as he invites Annette and Nikki, plus new players Chad and Lesley, as we venture far to the west of our normal campaign to the city of Glamaruth, as members of the Bragnaet (Dwarvish for "Protector") are chose to accompany the Hermit of Daka, Verrozz, back to his northern city home to investigate the disappearance of its entire population!

Episode 36: Aribelle, Tasha, and Zorith return to the Tharinoch's Talon for breakfast, and reunite with Meerla, who confesses a secret desire to study magic. After securing permission to have the army pay for a needed magical item, the trio take Meerla to the Marvelous Sigil where they negotiate with Wizard and shop-owner Shanairla Naeren on Meerla's behalf, securing her a chance at an apprenticeship! Then it's off to the manor house of Lord and Lady Thebes, who happen to be Aribelle's parents, for a "dinner with the fam," and final preparations for a pre-dawn departure aboard the pirate-hunting ship, "The Sea Devil!"

Episode 35: Aribelle, Tasha, and Zorith, sheltering in place in Jojo's apartment above the Shouting Pirate, receive a surprise visit from Viessa and make contact with Arimynn, briefly. They then learn that Captain Warbender has achieved a compromise: Aribell and Zorith have been conscripted into the army, but as "Special Consultants." Given the honorary rank of Lieutenant, and assigned to work under Tasha's command, who has receive a field promotion to Lt. Commander. The three then receive a visit from an old enemy-turned-friend, check in on another old friend, meet the Portmaster, try a new tavern for dinner, and prepare for the chance of a long ocean voyage in search of the overdue Black Parrot!

Episode 33: Our heroes hatch a cunning plan to spy on the spies as two different factions of Jogravanans meet up for the first time, with the help of a local shopkeeper. Add in the Lord Abbot of Remane Keep as part of the strategy, and there's a chance of pulling it off! Afterwards, it's a first: Teleportation circle travel back towards Aermagh, but a surprise stopover at the Tower of Azinor, where Zorith's mentor has some surprising news!
