Shannah Laumeister Stern is an actress, director and curator/manager of her late husband Bert Stern’s Trust. Starting in the 1950’s, Bert was a groundbreaking commercial photographer who is often credited with completely changing the way in which photography was used in advertising. Simultaneously, his photography of actors and entertainers became the stuff of legend collaborating with a wide range of performers such as Sophia Loren, Barbara Streisand, Elizabeth Taylor and many more. He may be most associated with the over 2,400 images he made with Marilyn Monroe just three weeks before her passing. Shannah shares insights about their mentor and muse relationship over decades as well as the documentary “Bert Stern: Original Mad Man” she wrote and directed about him.

Jean Fruth is a Northern California based sports photographer, author and co-founder of the non-profit Grassroots Baseball who has specialized in visual storytelling across the United States and the World. Grassroots Baseball promotes the sport with the goal of growing interest and participation in the game at the youngest levels.
