Miguel Gutierrez is a choreographer, composer, performer, singer, writer, educator, and Feldenkrais Method practitioner based in Lenapehoking aka Brooklyn, NY. His work creates irreverent and empathetic spaces outside traditional discourse. Recent projects include This Bridge Called My Ass, a performance that bends tropes of Latinidad, and SADONNA: The Brown Ambition Tour where he re-interprets Madonna’s upbeat songs as sad anthems.

Gabrielle Civil is a black feminist performance artist and poet, originally from Detroit, MI. She has premiered 50 performance artworks around the world and her performance memoirs include Swallow the Fish, Experiments in Joy and ( ghost gestures ) performance writing. The aim of her work is to open up space.

Daniel Alexander Jones exemplifies the artist as energy worker. His wildflower body of original work includes plays, performance pieces, recorded music, concerts, music theatre events, essays, and long-form improvisations. Energy is his true medium. Okwui Okpokwasili is an Igbo-Nigerian American artist, performer, choreographer, and writer. Her multidisciplinary performances draw on practices of body duration, a reflection of how black and brown bodies must hold multiple possibilities and conditions that are both confining and liberating. She describes her work as being at "the intersection of theatre, dance, and the installation." Several of her works relate to historical events in Nigeria.

Pavithra Prasad is an immigrant writer, critical scholar, and performer from Tamil Nadu in southern India. Her creative work invokes such confabulations as “futurist historiography,” “speculative non-fiction,” and “subcontinental futurism” to imagine and center global anti-racist and anti-caste coalitions. She splits her time between Los Angeles and Lemuria.

Miranda July is a writer, filmmaker, and artist. Her most recent book published by Prestel April 2020, Miranda July, has re-imagined the art monograph as an oral history on her career to date. July’s collection of stories, No One Belongs Here More Than You, won the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award. It Chooses You was her first book of non-fiction, which was followed by her debut novel, The First Bad Man. She wrote, directed and starred in feature films The Future and Me and You and Everyone We Know — winner of the Camera d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and recently added to the Criterion Collection. Her latest film, Kajillionaire, which she wrote and directed, world premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by Focus Features this year. Some of July’s participatory art works include “New Society” (a performance); “Somebody” (a messaging app created with Miu Miu), and an interfaith charity shop in Selfridges department store in London, presented by Artangel.
