  • Arts Weekly with Steven Uhles, Miller Theater
Arts Weekly Radio Show and Podcast with special guest Steven Uhles with the Miller Theater. We talked about the Miller and some of the upcoming events. First off, if you are dying to see inside the Miller--there is a free event for you: Raise the Curtain: A Public Preview of Augusta's Miller Theater; this is a free event but you are requested to download a ticket.
Listen to the show on Saturday Morning at 9:30 on Smooth Jazz 92.3 FM or to our Podcast from our website www.AugustaArts.com or iTunes.
The line-up of events are so tempting. Steven said they are looking for broad appeal, already the diversity seems to fit the bill. After the Raise the Curtain event comes Henry Rollins - Miller Theater; known in the early 80's as a Punk Rocker with Black Flag, Rollins is in now a world traveler and photographer who will present an evening of spoken word-- a presentation of his travels with his photographs as backdrop. Next up is St. Paul and The Broken Bones, I was not familiar with this group so I listened on Spotify and now have tickets. Lyfe Jennings is next and we're only to January 13!.
You can check out all 26 events on our calendar www.AugustaArts.com or the Miller Website. In Augusta 2018 is looking amazing - check out all the great events, shows and activities AugustaArts has to offer.
FYI --Augusta on Ice will be open on Christmas Day if you need to burn off the calories from your Christmas Goose.
