Evan Skytree Snyder ( Bandcamp // @skytreemusic ) is a producer, synthesizer technician, and an engineer. Evan has developed a unique way of creating synthesizer patches using a method he calls geo-sonification; method whereby he uses material from the earth such as crystals or running water from streams as the signal/input for creating sounds on his modular synth. We talk about the physiological toll of living a performance-based lifestyle and how each person must find their own balance to sustain a career within it; his newest album; some of his early influences (Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, and Autechre)and how he stumbled upon Aphex Twin on late night MTV2 in the 90's; an upcoming gig he'll be playing and a whole bunch more!

Amanda Sage (@amandasageart ) is a painter, teacher and community builder living mainly in Gunnison, Colorado. Amanda is a central pillar in the psychedelic and visionary art movement over the past two decades. Her work has been featured in galleries and at festivals around the globe. During the beginning of the pandemic, she started the Vision Train, a 24 hour global art jam via Zoom, that hosted talks, lessons and hangouts while artists from around the world shared their work.

 In this episode we talk about memetic progression of style and symbolism in her art work, jumping in to "being an artist" as a full time job too soon, the double edged sword of infinite opportunities and responsibilities and a whole lot more.
