Earl Hamner created and wrote such novels as Spenser's Mountain (which became a major movie), and "The Walton's" which was also a best-seller before becoming the long-running network television series, which continues to air in syndication throughout the world.

I also get into some of my personal battles with American Airlines and the lack of "Customer Service" we all face nowadays!  It simply does NOT exist!

Earl wrote me just weeks before he died of cancer, which I wanted to share with you.  I still miss him.
