I think a great way to introduce Ken is to read a direct quote from Grovemade‘s website.
“The seeds were planted a decade ago by pure chance when I moved my custom furniture business into a humble workshop backing up to the railroad tracks. Across the street, in a run-down home, we called the “Fight Club House” lived enthusiastic entrepreneur Joe Mansfield. He was somehow running a very successful laser engraving and digital art business out of a spare bedroom. We soon became friends and would often throw a football around in the street—endlessly tossing creative ideas back and forth dreaming up the next big thing. One hot day in the summer of 2009, Grovemade was born.”

We are more than Lipstick, an interview with the "larger than life" Dorothy Rhau.
Social Entrepreneur and Stand Up Comedian.
Born in Montreal and of Haitian origin, Dorothy Rhau became known as the first black female French stand-up comedian in Quebec and Canada.
In December 2016, she assembled a team and created in 2018, Audace au Féminin (Feminine Boldness) a non-profit organization that presents annually the Salon International De La Femme Noire (International Black Women's Expo), a new social entrepreneurship project. Since the first edition in 2018, the fair has continued with the vision of making Montreal the mecca for black women around the world.
Recently, she joined the DanieleHenkel.tv team as a columnist where she works on articles focused of "The Power of Diversity". Thanks to her former life as a human resources manager, Dorothy surrounds herself with an exceptional team to build this constantly evolving event that aims to highlight the Black Women shining in the shadows. Once one hears Dorothy Rhau speak, they understand better why the theme of the Salon is: «n’aie pas peur, OSE!» ("Don't be scared, DARE!")
