If you’re reading this…you…like I…have been gifted with another year.

Some of us have been blessed with many more than others.

We’ve lived through some ‘what in the world’ moments…and yet stand to tell the story.

When I look back over my life…I don’t wonder how I got over…I know without a doubt.

I’m not strong enough in my natural to have endured all that God has seen me though.

In all honesty…had my parents not introduced me to Jesus Christ…

And had I not grown my relationship with and faith in Him…

Who knows who I’d be…or where I’d be

Although we may not think we take life and our temporary stay for granted, at times it appears that way; as if we've forgotten, just for a moment, that the gift of life is just that...a gift. It hasn't been promised beyond what we have already received. There are no predictors as to when the gifts may stop. Only God knows. All we can do is keep living each day as if it is what it is...a gift!

This podcast is a reminder of how purposeful our lives are, even in the midst of whatever issues of life we go through...the light within us can be used outside of us to brighten the pathway of another. 

You'll find a reminder that even when you feel overwhelmed and as if you aren't getting your assignments done, you may not be getting your assignments done...but if you check the markers behind you, those that you've left along the way...often you will find that you have been completing assignments assigned to you by The One who created you, all along...perhaps for years or even decades!!

Be encouraged and be it for someone else...Keep Looking Up!!

This episode was born out of something that I do every day. But it landed a different way today.  I noticed each step in the process of cleaning my classes, and its impact on my clarity and focus.

I've related this every day experience with how we see things in life and how some things can be fuzzy in our sight and/or thoughts, from the beginning of time...or over time.  Sometimes we need some assistance to get us from where we are to the 20/20 vision needed to truly see things, as they are.

This episode is proof that there are lessons in everything around us, if we slow down just long enough to see them, hear them and most importantly...share them.

We shouldn't take what we see and how we see it for granted...when we see clearly, focused and with brilliant coloring...at our 20/20 level...that's something to get excited about!

This podcast is a message about Broken Pieces...does anyone not have them at some point in life?? Some have become wedged, buried or engrained so deeply, that we may not even realize that it's missing or some place it's not supposed to be...causing mayhem in our lives and the lives of those connected to us. The brokenness shows up in our lives, sometimes establishing patterns of behavior that we may or may not be aware of.

What do we do about our Broken Pieces...leave them floating around and causing mayhem, because we don't know what to do with them, the work is too hard or we don't have faith that God can fix what He created? I believe that some things, He handles Himself, in a miraculous kind of way and other things...we've got to put in the work to get back to the self that He created us to be. He uses us to help each other get to a place of healing.

"…I believe that it takes the navigation system of the Holy Spirit to find all of our Broken Pieces…and Navigate them back to where God intended for them to be in order for the mending and healing process to begin."

The message that flows in this podcast reminds us to be careful about anger becoming a permanent or even temporary resident in our hearts. It describes what it may look like...and what it can look like, even when it doesn't look like what it really is. Life is short and if we aren't careful, we can lose track of how long we have entertained and even become the host of anger...so much so that we may not even recognize it as such.

The inspirational writing from 'As It Flows From My Heart' volume 1...'A Lie Is More Interesting' is shared as we explore the root of some of our anger, which may be based on things that we believe or have been told and may have some truth to it...but may also be "a version that is so far from the root of the truth…it is no longer producing fruit…just mayhem." Inaccurate versions of some story-telling can be intentional or unintentional. What's important for us to remember is to not allow untruths to travel through us and certainly not take up residence in us.

The takeaway from this podcast is Don't Die Angry... forgiveness is work...but necessary. 'Forgive as much as you can...So you can ...Love as much as you can.'

This message flowed onto a sticky note, years ago, long before publishing was a thought. I would encounter a young lady in tears, shortly after writing it. After encouraging her a bit, I pulled it out and left it with her. She came back later to thank me for sharing it during her 'what in the world' moment. My hope is that it will bless you or someone you care about, as well.

In the world that we live in today, it's important to know what brings peace into the spaces and places that we dwell and how to get back to our peace, within, when we need to. The peace that's in you...goes where you go...

In volume 1 of the As It Flows From My Heart Series, there's a writing entitled You See Me. This podcast has some inspirational nuggets surrounding that writing...asking the question of why are we here...who are we assigned to and who's assigned to us...the importance of being consistent in our ask, until we see the answer manifest itself in our lives. And some additional inspirational nuggets regarding pain...what it does or doesn't look like and how fear of it or how we do or don't handle it can be a temporary or permanent barrier to fulfilling the purpose we were created for. Some healing has to take place before most of us can be all that's in us and that we were created to be. We are here...on and for purpose...why are you here?
