As Marcos Jr. undermines EDSA Day, monuments to his dictator father emerge

For three years now, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has undermined the yearly commemoration of the 1986 People Power Revolution that toppled his father’s regime. In that same time, researchers say his government allocated at least P150 million to fund more than a dozen sites honoring his family.
