it is kind of a simple way to say it. but i think the millenial generation was used to the regular wages. but i think when they were used to the regular wages, there were a lot of lawsuits happening because of "discriminatory practices" and the people that were involved with those lawsuits wound up being the people that got higher wages. so some people got much higher wages but then there were like the millennials who were left behind just expecting 12 dollars and hour or whatever. and by the time the millennials realized the wages had been raised to 40 an hour or whatever, it was like millennials were locked out of that.
