Gavin Waits is a former service missionary for the Ohio Columbus Mission. He has played a key role in pioneering the integration of service and proselyting missions in the North America Northeast Area. When asked if he ever misses being a service missionary, he simply replied that he doesn’t feel any different since taking off the missionary tag. As a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sister Stangland has undergone the long and rewarding journey of learning about the nature of Heavenly Father and how we can draw closer to Him. Despite growing up with personal misconceptions of the gospel and God’s plan for His children, her desires eventually led her into the waters of baptism and in becoming a full-time missionary. Sister Shamy, also known as Kira Caprice on social media, was temporarily assigned to a service mission before returning to her original assignment in the Texas Houston Mission.
