Today we are looking at Exodus 40, the last chapter of a foundational book to the Old Testament.
If you liked this topic, I recommend listening to the Knowing Faith podcast. They recently wrapped up a series on Exodus, and Episode #230 is about Exodus 40 specifically - this is the podcast I reference early on in today's episode.
Here are some of the every day resources I use to dive deeper into the Bible:
A Study Bible: My translation is this New Living Translation, which has been helpful for me the last ten years in learning to read the Bible.
Youversion Bible: This app is a quick, easy way to read a section in different translations. Sometimes I read a verse in NLT, NIV, ESV, AMP, and The Message to see it from a few different angles and try to understand what is being communicated.
Blue Letter Bible: This website/app is free and full of commentaries, cross references, definitions of root words, and more - it's a great resource for exploring a section of Scripture more in depth.
My recommendation is to read a passage without resources at first, praying and talking to God about help to understand. After that, there are a lot of resources out there!
