Focus On Yourself and Cut Out the Noise! | Dr. Rick Wallace

Stop renting out space in your head to the opinions of others or the concern of whether someone likes or accepts you for who you are. Stop listening to the noise of others' thoughts, movements, and opinions. Focus on yourself and put in the work; follow your path. The best way to kill the noise is with success.   

Stop giving your energy to what you have lost and start living with what you have left. The miracle always comes from what is left, regardless of how insignificant it seems. If it is trimmed or pruned away, it wasn't meant to be a part of the next leg of your journey.   

You have to stop seeking validation for every move you make. There will be some steps you will have to take where no one believes but you. You have to be okay with that. Stop seeking outside cues to determine what you must do, you hold your vision --- turn inward for the answers you seek.   

To whom much is given much is required, but when you do what is required the reward will match the work.

Have We Become Addicted to Suffering and Trauma Porn? | Time to Shift Paradigms | Dr. Rick Wallace  

I study a vast volume of metrics and analytic data daily. It is directly tied to the success of my work and businesses. What I have come to realize in observing the analytics associated with my content as well as what I have observed from others, it appears that we have developed a taste for suffering and we enjoy viewing, reading, and hearing about trauma and negativity far more than we enjoy being uplifted and empowered.   

It almost seems as if we have found a certain level of comfort and safety in complaining and playing the victim. Well, playing the victim does not require accountability to self and purpose. There is almost a sense of safety in being a victim because nothing is expected of us but complaining and finger-pointing.   

Whether as individuals or as part of a collective, we have a responsibility to ourselves, our families, and our creator to live life at the level of our design. We can never do that from the position and perspective of a victim.   

Do we need to address the negative realities in our lives and communities? Absolutely! But these realities should never define us. Some of you can't make it because you have immersed yourself so deeply in your struggles that you have embraced suffering as your lot in life.   

You were meant to win, and this truth is not dependent on where you started or your current situation. It depends heavily on how you perceive life and the actions you take. It is time for you to walk out of the darkness. ~ Rick Wallace, Ph.D., Psy.D.

You must be determined and committed if you want to succeed. Life will not lay down and roll over because you desire something. It is important that you understand that the bigger the vision, the bigger the dream, the greater the sacrifice.   

I have a few questions: 

How hungry are you? 

What drives your hunger? 

What do you want to achieve? 

What do you want to avoid? 

What's your next step?  

What does your vision look like?  

You have to understand that success is intentional ~ you don't win by mistake or accident.   

What are the greatest inhibitors to success? In one way or another, the two greatest blocks to success are limited beliefs and failure to take action. You must shape your beliefs through managing your information upload or intake. 

This is why it is so important to guard your gates (your senses, especially sight and hearing). You change your beliefs by changing what you feed your mind.   

You have to take action. Your behavior has the ability to influence your beliefs, so if you train yourself to action to do what you know needs to be done, you will eventually create new beliefs through the results you get through your actions. You have to act on your dreams, visions, and desires. This is how you bring them to reality.

Because of so many erroneous concepts about God, it is easy for people to feel that God is far away, distant, and aloof. The further away God seems to us, the more anxious and fearful we become.
