Business Mindset Thursday ~ RELOADED  Merging Yesterday's Work Ethic With Today's Technology! | Dr. Rick Wallace

One thing that really bothers me about the younger generations is that they have allowed technology to make them lazy. I get it; the technology has simplified and automated processes. But, instead of doubling down and doubling production, most people have fallen back to ride the tail of technological advances, instead of driving productivity with that same technology.

Those who get on in this next decade will be those who are willing to sustain their current work ethic while optimizing results through technology.   It is time to put in work! Are you ready?

It Takes Courage to Win! Do You Have the Courage? | Dr. Rick Wallace

Success comes at a price. You have to be willing to face the storms of change. You have to have the fortitude to withstand the forces of resistance that are commonplace when ascending to new heights.

Stop playing small. Stop investing in things that are too small to hold your vision and your destiny. You can plant the peach seed in a cup of soil, but it will not grow and produce fruit. You have to plant it in a place that has the capacity to sustain it and allow it to flourish. Stop socializing with small minds.

Some of you are caught up in an illusion in which you think God is the problem. You think God is withholding something from you. You think God is ignoring your prayers. No, it is not what you think about God or what God is doing that is holding you back; it is what you are thinking about yourself. You have to see and trust your potential. You have to stop neutralizing your gift in order to fit in. You have to stop mingling with mediocrity. It is time for you to stand up and step out.

The Mentality of the Lion! What It Takes To Win! | Dr. Rick Wallace

"One of the most inhibiting forces that stop people from actualizing and maximizing their potential is procrastination. Many of you who are reading this book are currently procrastinating about engaging in something that you have wanted to for years. Procrastination seemingly offers the convenience of putting off for tomorrow what should be done today, but actually, it is worse. Procrastination is the manifestation of fear, lack of desire, uncertainty, or indecision." (Critical Mass: The Phenomenon of Next-Level Living, Rick Wallace, Ph.D., Psy.D.)

Facebook ~ Instagram & WhatsApp All Crash ~ What's Behind It? | Blazin Heat | Dr. Rick Wallace

Through the Black Men Lead rite of passage initiative, we pride ourselves in developing and preparing young Black males to become functional Black men. However, we cannot lose sight of the need to create a safe space for Black adult males to release, vent, be vulnerable, and seek help.   "I'm good" can no longer be a default response when a Black man is asked how he is doing.   To learn more about our efforts visit http://bit.ly/2VJVHjfBlackMenLead

Chasing the Ghost: The Quest for Black Wealth ~ Introducing The Black Wealth Project

Blacks are consistently ranked last in every statistical category associated with socioeconomics and wealth accumulation. The question is what are we going to do about it and when do we plan on getting started?

As I write my 25th book Chasing the Ghost: The Quest for Black Wealth, I am constantly reminded of the hurdles that my people face as we attempt to accumulate true wealth. From the Black Codes to Gentrification, we have been at war for our very survival since 1865.

Our path to wealth does not look like anyone else's. We must first understand this truth and then act accordingly.

Breaking Through The Glass Ceiling Comes at a Price Most People Aren't Willing to Pay!

They call it the glass ceiling because, despite the apparent barrier, you can still see what you desire for yourself. The glass ceiling is so effective in holding people back because to break through it, you will experience pain. You are going to get cut and bloodied. It will leave scars. But, here is what I can tell you with 100 percent certainty: If you commit to breaking through the glass ceiling in your life, the reward will far outweigh the discomfort and pain.

Most people will live their entire life and never venture outside of the box because they fear the consequences of breaking the mold of mediocrity that everyone has become so comfortable living. They wake up every day and go to work at a job they hate --- working with people they can't stand.

If you want to live life at the level of your design, you will have to commit to being uncomfortable and inconvenienced. You will have to be willing to embrace the pain --- know it will produce a more excellent version of yourself.

The question I have for you today is simple. How bad do you want it?
