Your Time Is Coming! No Surrender; No Retreat! Dr. Rick Wallace

I wrote the following excerpt several years ago, and this morning I saw it rolling down my newsfeed on Facebook. So, I thought I would share it again. The person looped some of it but decided to leave it just as they posted it.   This journey called life will be challenging, especially if you are demanding greatness from it.

Life will pay whatever price you demand of it, but you must be willing to meet the counter-demands that life will make of you.

I often say that everyone wants the promise while shunning the process. What I mean is that most people are aware of all of the wonderful things life has to offer, but most are used to seeing at a distance. They see other people living a life they desire, but they are not privy to the path and the sacrifices made in order to obtain that position in life. The process always precedes the promise!

No matter how entitled you feel about what you should have, if you don't put in the work, it will remain a desire and nothing more. To me, there is nothing more enigmatic than "broke" people who complain constantly about how "bored" they are. There is no way that you should be "broke" and "bored" at the same time. That mindset comes from a sense of entitlement.

Now, to those of you whom I posted this for --- to the person who has been putting in the work and making the sacrifices --- let patience have its perfect work. God's universal law of reciprocity ensures that what you plant and cultivate you will harvest at the given time.

I know that for some of you it seems as if it has been a lifetime without results. Never allow the illusions of negativity to blanket the aura of gratitude you hold for the life that you have been blessed to live. For some of you, it has been tough, but if you look beneath the surface there will be a testimony of how God has moved in your darkness and delivered you into a place of healing and growth.

Please understand that the gestation period for each seed is different. Someone who has planted seeds for the rose bush will not have to wait as long as the one who has planted the seed for the oak tree. Just remember while the person who planted the seed for the rose bush will see the fruit of their labor much quicker, the one who planted the oak tree will be sheltered by it for life. Your time is coming.

Everything you are going through now is preparing This journey called life will be challenging, especially if you are demanding greatness from it. Life will pay whatever price you demand of it, but you must be willing to meet the counter-demands that life will make of you.

The World Needs You to Unpack Your Gift | Dr. Rick Wallace

Nothing can resist the human will that will stake even its very existence on the extent of its purpose!" ~ Benjamin Disraeli

One of the first things that you must understand is that the only limitation you have in this world are the ones that you accept in your mind. The limitations you accept in your mind will form beliefs that will govern your actions. If you are honest with yourself, your actions consistently align with your beliefs.

Your beliefs dictate your thoughts, your emotions, and your actions, which directly produce your results. Your results will then reinforce the original belief. If you want to change your results, you have to change your beliefs.

I have a question: How far are you willing to go to achieve that which you desire? What I can tell you is the distance you are willing to go is directly related to how much you believe in what you are fighting for.

You can talk about all that you want to accomplish in this world until you are blue in the face, but if you want to do something that you have never done you will have to become someone you have never been.

It is time for you to unpack your gift. Most people never unwrap their inherent gifts. Look, you are designed to impact the world. Your gift is not for you, it is for the fulfillment of your purpose. You were designed to impact people that no one else on this planet can reach and impact but you. Your success will be birthed out of unpacking and uses your gift to liberate others.

It is time to unpack your gift.
