The Rightful King Dies...it's a bummer.  Season 1 Episode 6.  

In this episode of Game of Thrones, King Robert and Cersei reminisce about the good old days.  Ned plays tries his hand at being a private Dick and he half succeeds . And finally we get the debut of The Idiot Titsucker!!1!!

This week we are once again joined by a guest and friend of the podcast, Face.   The titular Lord Snow, is beating recruits at The Wall like they were orphans on the streets of Braavos and gets some advice from Uncle Tyrion.  King Robert and crew tell war stories while Dany begins to take the reigns of the 'Horise Parade'. Things get weird on the show real quick and we're are all left with one big question; when the hell will we get GIANT ICE SPIDERS!!??!!!?!

On this inaugural podcast of 'The Great Rewatch Project,' we discuss the very first episode of Game of Thrones, 'Winter is Coming.' We are joined by our guest and fellow book-reader, Jim, as we discuss how the show has evolved over the years, the lost art of "Sex-position," and the curse of King Robert's cooties.  Despite an otherwise enjoyably, faithfully adaptation, this episode was marred by our first glimpse of the worst aspect of the show, unnecessary sexual violence.

Cersei not only got her groove back but she’s hot fire. Meanwhile Pycell gets into a tussle with some Street Rats and Tommen forgets to take his antidepressants.  Dany has to end her summer fling, Tyrion gets a promotion, and ‘no one’ has a problem with Walder Frey. This was terrific episode, despite having to visit Dorne.

The Bastard Bowl goes down in tremendous fashion, and we're not talking Lebron and Steph Curry. We get an amazing Saving Private Ryan battle scene in The North, while there's no saving Theon's privates as he and Yara seek an alliance with Dany. Join Doug and Brian as they recap Game of Thrones Episode 9, "Battle of The Bastards.”

Remember that cool theory you had last week? Well, this week it’s given the stink finger.  Turns out Arya’s just an idiot, Grandma’s chicken soup heals all tummy aches and the Waif runs like the freakin T-1000.  Colonel Sandor’s all out of fried chicken and, like Cersei, chooses violence.
