I sat down with comics newcomer Ashley Franklin to chat about her new creepy queer YA graphic novel The Hills of Estrella Roja from Clarion/Harper Collins Books. We dig into the inspiration behind the book in the Marfa Lights of Texas, the Lechuza, a chupacabra, and manage to get in a little bit of time for Ashley to profess her undying love for moss.
