August 04, 2022Ashley On - Mushroom Nutrition with Dr. Robert Beelman from Penn State UniversityDr. Beelman has been researching the nutritious value of mushrooms since the 1970's. His research identified the amino acid, Ergothioneine (or Ergo), as being abundantly prevalent in mushrooms and it is found in animals that have eaten grasses containing Ergo. According to WEBMD, studies indicate that Ergo may provide beneficial support for Alzheimer's, the liver, joints, cataracts, diabetes and the heart. In order to increase long-term health outcomes and life expectancy, Dr. Beelman encourages greater consumption of mushrooms as a means to significantly increase consumption of Ergo and other important micronutrients found in mushrooms. Dr. Beelman's research has also identified how non-regenerative agricultural practices can have a significantly negative impact on Ergo levels in the food supply; as animals are no longer getting Ergo nutrients from the soil which are destroyed each year by tilling and chemicals. May 18, 2022Ashley On - the Adams Event with Professor Alan CooperThe Adams Event: Our Earth has two magnetic poles: North and South. However, these poles are not stable as they shift periodically based on movements of the Earth's molten iron center -- as it sloshes around so to speak, the poles move around a bit. However, the Adams Event was a phenomenon 42,000 years ago where the Earth's magnetic North and South Poles flipped, switching places for several hundred years before returning to their original positions. Why is this relevant? Because our magnetic North Pole is on the run now speeding up its movement toward Siberia from 9mi per year in the 90s to over 30mi per year now! We discuss this with expert, Prof. Alan Cooper. ...more32minPlay
March 16, 2022Ashley On - Regenerative Farming & a Natural Approach with John Roulac, producer of Kiss the GroundJohn Roulac is a true natural foods and agriculture pioneer, having sued the DEA and winning regarding hemp seed legality, founding Nutiva superfoods, and producing Kiss the Ground on Netflix. We talk about all of this and more. John had just finished his appearance on RFK Jr.'s podcast and was fired up. John is highly controversial because he is a self identified liberal who happens to question the liberal agenda for foods and pharmaceuticals (similar to RFK Jr.). John rightly identifies that many of today's liberals are like yesterday's right wingers dictating and demanding an anti-freedom and dangerous agenda. Despite all of this, John leaves us with a positive message: "Don't Hate. Even Bayer/Monsanto...don't hate them." Note: Ashley On represents a staunchly independent political viewpoint. ...more51minPlay
